Work With What You Have!

If you’re looking for a simple way to add variety to your projects, start by sifting through the supplies you already have! With just a few sheets of cardstock and your trusty Paper Trimmer, you can easily create three unique designs to highlight stamps of every size from your favorite set.
For all of the cards above, I started with:
  • The Moving Along Stamp Set
  • The same ink colors (Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Real Red, Smoky Slate, and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink)
  • Smoky Slate Cardstock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2"; 21.6 x 14 cm)
  • Whisper White Cardstock (3-3/4" x 3-3/4"; 9.5 x 9.5 cm)
  • Neutrals 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper in Smoky Slate (3" x 5"; 7.6 x 12.7 cm) SUPER CUTE!

Stick Together

Introducing SEAL and SEAL+ Adhesive In case you haven’t heard the news, an old Stampin’ Up! standby has retired: SNAIL Adhesive. But don’t be sad—because we are replacing it with a product that is even better and stronger: SEAL and SEAL+ Adhesive. Stampin’ SEAL is an every-day adhesive that bonds instantly and neatly, like SNAIL, yet stronger than SNAIL. Stampin’ SEAL+ is a super-strength adhesive that bonds instantly and neatly, similar to Fast Fuse. It’s perfect for heavier layers or small 3D items and is perforated for easy separation after laydown. One more thing that we think you’re going to love: Both SEAL and SEAL+ Adhesives include 16.4 yds. (15 m) adhesive vs. SNAIL Adhesive’s 13.1 yds. (12 m). This new adhesive solution is a winner. You can order it HERE from me until June 30th.

New Catalog Little Changes.....

Little Changes, Big Impact
How can you take a project from simple to stepped up? It’s as easy as adding an embellishment here and a technique there. Here’s the step-it-up story for our samples.
  • Simple (first sample). Use stamps, ink, paper.
  • A bit stepped up (second sample). Add a Crumb Cake Cardstock layer, Flowers for Every Season Gems, and Rococo Rose 1/2" (1.3 cm) Scalloped Linen Ribbon; spatter the background using a Water Painter and ink.
  • Really stepped up (third sample). Stamp dots and more flowers, and swap the ribbon for Forever Greenery Trim; emboss the background using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, and sponge on more color.
You can do the same for any project. Step it up by adding layers, embellishments, and color. What you do is up to you! Check out the new catalog HERE.

That Crazy Wabbitt!!!

I have started a new hobby, needle felting, and just love it! It is a bit challenging and definitely takes some time to learn, but it is so rewarding.

It is amazing what you can make with a tool and some strands of wool!

This how you start out to create..........

This was my second attempt

This was my third! I am getting there but I can see why the people that make these are truly called artists.
I was actually going to try and get good enough to have an intro class on this, but I did not anticipate the time factor to create one of these little guys! My friend, Susie, has been an inspiration for me!! :)
