Happy 2019!!! New Year-New Resolution

New Year's resolutions- really??? Most of the time these go by the wayside after the first week- UGH! But this year, I have decided to make one that I just might be able to keep

 In Horace, the phrase is part of the longer carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero, which can be translated as "Seize the day, put very little trust in tomorrow (the future)". The ode says that the future is unforeseen and that one should not leave to chance future happenings, but rather one should do all one can today to make one's future better. 

2018 was quite the struggle- I lost three very dear friends and saw their lives taken away way too soon. ): My heart has been reflecting on this and I know that I have no control over my expiration date, but I do have control over how I live (or accept) every day going forward! I am going to (as best as I can) live in the moment, be happier, less stressed and hopefully create joy for those around me. Wish me luck on this resolution, it truly is one that I would love to accomplish.

January, 2019 Card Buffet

Welcome to my first January Card Buffet Class which will be held on Thursday, January 10 and repeated on Saturday, January 12, 2019. I am super excited about this event and the future ones we have planned.

What is a Card Buffet? Well first of all it gives you choices of times, card styles and quantities! Great huh? You pick the time you can attend, how many cards you would like to purchase and which cards you would like to make. Buy as many as you like- the sky is the limit!!!

Loss Of A Friend

My heart is heavy and weeping today since I found out about the passing of my dear friend, Dee, yesterday. She was a wonderful friend, avid stamper and beloved co-worker! I will miss her dearly and know that we will meet again one day. Rest well my friend, we will miss you! Big Warm Hugs

Annual Christmas Party Fun!!!!

Saturday was my 9th Annual Christmas Luncheon and what a blast!!! I am so grateful for all of my Stampin'Sistas! Unfortunately not everyone could join us, but they are always in our hearts and prayers! Thank you to everyone who brought me gifts!!! Susie, Janet, Sharon, Kari and Jeanette, you guys are too much!
